Key Facts Summary — Version 1.0 (draft)

What you're agreeing to, in plain language

This page summarises the most important facts about your plan before you commit to it. It doesn't replace our full Terms & Conditions, but it's designed to make sure the key points are clear and genuinely understood — not buried in a longer document.

A note on this document: this was created specifically in response to a concern that commitment-tier wording could otherwise be seen as an unfair or unclear contract term. Showing this summary, and asking for explicit acknowledgement, before any paid commitment begins is a genuine protection for both you and Futurum — proof that the key facts were understood, not just written down somewhere.

If you're choosing pay-as-you-go

  • No minimum commitment. Cancel or pause anytime, with 24 hours' notice where possible.
  • £38/hour (standard rate) applies — no discount, but no obligation either.
  • You can move to a commitment tier later, once you've had a few weeks to see if it's working for you.

If you're choosing a 6, 9, or 12-month commitment tier

  • This is a binding commitment for the full term you choose.
  • The full amount for that term is owed, even if you stop attending sessions before it ends. This is the trade-off for the lower rate — a 9-month plan costs less per month specifically because it's a genuine commitment, not a flexible arrangement.
  • If your circumstances genuinely change, contact us directly — we'll always talk it through rather than apply this rigidly, but the starting position is that the term is binding.
  • You have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of starting a new plan under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If sessions begin during those 14 days at your request, this right may not fully apply to sessions already delivered — see our Terms & Conditions for the full wording.

If you're choosing the Group Revision Programme or an EHCP Advocacy instalment plan

  • The full programme or package fee is owed, on the schedule agreed at the start — whether you attend every session, and regardless of how quickly an Advocacy case actually resolves. An instalment plan is a commitment to pay the full fee in fixed monthly amounts, not an ongoing service you can stop partway through.
  • Paying an EHCP Advocacy package in full upfront saves 10%, instead of using the instalment option — entirely optional, and instalments remain available to every family regardless of circumstances.
  • The instalment schedule doesn't change once it's set, even if things move faster or slower than expected.

Other things worth knowing plainly

  • Referral credits have no cash value, can't be withdrawn as cash, and can't be used to pay off an overdue balance.
  • Bursary places are awarded at Futurum's discretion, are not guaranteed, and may be withdrawn if requested evidence isn't provided.
  • EHCP Advocacy support is not legal advice — Futurum is not a firm of solicitors, and will always say so and signpost you elsewhere where genuine legal advice is needed.
  • We can't guarantee specific grades, exam results, or Ofsted/inspection outcomes — our commitment is to a genuinely evidence-based, professional standard of support, not a promised result.

Before a paid plan begins, you'll be asked to confirm: "I have read and understood this Key Facts Summary."

This summary sits alongside, and doesn't replace, our full Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If anything here seems unclear, please ask before committing to a plan — that's exactly what this page is for.
